Actress. Director. Writer. Producer.
A much larger resume that Sheena Faust ever expected. As a child, Sheena always gravitated toward the performing arts. She grew up loving all forms of music and could discern the impact it had on others. As she grew up she never forgot that idea and began to experience the arts in another way-through acting! Sheena loved television and movies, and appreciated that it provided not only a way of escape from the ordinary, but that at best, the arts could motivate, challenge, and bring about change. It was not until one of her longtime friends mentioned acting that Sheena figured she would give it a shot.
A “late bloomer”, she really did not pursue acting until senior year of high school… but, when she did, it was the first time she felt really alive. It was a climactic event that would begin the birthing of a childhood passion. After high school, she went to major in Theater at the University of South Carolina, learning the fundamentals and intricacies of all things acting.
As Sheena began to grow personally, she took on the responsibility of directing the drama troupe at her church. Directing was sort of “accidental”, in that she had never really considered it. However, it turned out to be a truly purposed, as it pushed her out of her comfort zone. As the ministry quickly grew and developed, she began to write skits and produce art shows. The drama team is named “A.C.T.S.”, short for Acclaiming Christ Through Service, with several members who have performed all over the Southeast.
Sheena has also had the honor of doing various local commercial work, but this is just the beginning. She is constantly working on new material and has several projects in the making. The Arts chose her and she is never letting go. For more information, please contact her using the contact form.
